We had earlier reported that director
Seenu Ramasamy and
Udhayanidhi Stalin will be joining hands for a movie. The latest about the movie, which has been titled Kanne Kalaimaane, is that Tamannaah will be part of it.
According to the director, “This is the first time Udhayanidhi and Tamannaah are pairing up together. She was very excited when she heard the story. Only the dates have to be finalised.” Incidentally, this will be the second time that Tamannaah will be acting in the director’s film, after Dharmadurai.
Giving us more details, the director says, “It is a romance-based film that talks about humanism.
The story is set in Chozhavanthan near Madurai. Tamannaah plays the role of a bank employee in the village. Several upcoming artistes will be part of the supporting cast. Yuvan Shankar will score the music while Vairamuthu will pen the lyrics.”
The director also informs that the title is a tribute to his guru,
Balu Mahendra. “I have taken the title from the popular song from Moondram Pirai, which was also the last song that Kaviarasu Kannadasan had penned.”
